In providing world-class education, opportunities and experiences, Atlantic Canada’s post-secondary institutions play a vital role in the region’s future. While our region’s universities and community colleges may differ in size, scope and focus, they all share common goals, challenges and ever-changing needs.
Interuniversity Services Incorporate (ISI) brings these institutions, resources and discoveries together to facilitate growth and collaboration.
From an original vision back in 1984 – to be a model of university cooperation – ISI has now grown to represent and support 19 post-secondary institutions from all four Atlantic Provinces. Each member is welcomed and treated equally, regardless of the size of the institution, and membership fees are based on each organization’s individual operating budget and enrolment.
Whether the institutions have an operating budget of $300 million or $1,000,000, 15,000 students or 150: When it comes to sharing information, working collaboratively and the decision-making process, one member equates one vote.
